In logistics, a few grams can make a difference. When thousands of goods movements are handled every day, having accurate weight data at the exact point where the load is handled is not a convenience: it is an operational requirement.
A few weeks ago, the customised solutions team of a major multinational group specialising in the sale and supply of electric pallet trucks approached us with a very specific requirement. We have been working with them for years, and they know our way of working well. They were not looking for a standard solution or an improvised modification. They needed to integrate a high-precision weighing system into their electric pallet trucks without compromising ergonomics, safety, equipment reliability or the operating pace of their personnel.

Our technical and sales department analysed the customer’s process, studied the installation constraints and assessed the different alternatives. The objective was not simply to add a weighing system. Every bracket, electrical connection, weighing indicator integration and installation detail has been designed with the demands of daily operation in a challenging industrial environment in mind.
The result
The result is a fully customised pallet truck capable of handling goods and obtaining an accurate weight measurement in a single operation, reducing processing times, eliminating unnecessary movements and improving product traceability.
The units have now been completed and are on their way to our customer’s warehouses, where they will soon become part of the end customer’s daily operations.
